Iwa says – The saddest thing is that I do not know Japanese enough (kanji not helpful enough) to read the novel. So I have absolutely no idea what the story is about.
But based on the illustrations there’s plenty of fights. Based on Kanji being like Chinese Han Zhi I hazard a guess to say the legendary Sagat vs Ryu fight of the early years. Before moving to the present time where Ryu enter a tournament in Hong Kong started by Shadowlaw and in the process met up with Chun Li who was tracking down Vega (Bison). Cammy going undercover? Gouki’s name keeps popping up in the book. A novelization of the game prehaps? As said I don’t know enough Japanese. It bugs me that I can’t afford to get someone to translate the book for me (preferably to english) It also makes me wonder if a Chinese copy is available out there |

Iwa says –The saddest thing is that I do not know Japanese enough (kanji not helpful enough) to read the novel. So I have absolutely no idea what the story is about.
Based on illustrations. Another fights a plenty book it would seem with another Sagat vs Ryu. Could ChunLi’s father still be alive? Ryu and Chun Li meets up again to take down Shadowlaw. Gouki vs Vega (Bison)? Whose side is Cammy on? Is that a Ryu vs Ken fight? Guile is involve in this one. Could this one be a novelization of the movie? The buggiest thing about the second book is the ending. What I wanna know is if Ryu is just severely injured or dying. Is Chun Li with him at that time or what? As said I don’t know enough Japanese. With limited knowledge of kanji I didn’t dare read the book as I don’t wanna jump to conclusions. I’m still hoping that I might be able to get someone to translate for me or hunt down a Chinese edition book (if it exist). Or even eventually take up a Japanese language course |

Iwa says – Its the author’s take on the history of Chun Li. Times like this I’m seriously considering Japanese classes. Anyway from what pics there are inside and whatever translated by Babel Fish. Its Chun Li’s life story. From her early memories of her mother, a fire that cosume her family home (may or may not be the cause of her mother’s death). To her training days and her school days and how probably her father disappear and stuff that might have pointed her in the general direction of shadoloo which porbably led her to join ICPO Side note – Er… If perchance Udon does rummage through fansites like this. Any remote chance of Udon ever translating novels like this? I got my books through Amazon Japan |

Iwa says – The Cammy novels. I had thought that it was a one volume thing. turns out that its in two parts. Since I am not a fan of Cammy I had not bother to find out more about the books back then. But there seems to be an article on this in the Book Report (Info section) section of CammyFan.com website |
