ChunLi yawned as she woke up, Ryu’s side of the bed was still warm. 

^Must be washing up or something.^ ChunLi thought, her long hair in a braid, T-shirt and shorts being her pajamas. ChunLi threw a few punches to stretch her sleepy muscles. 

Bleary eyes she got out of bed and yawn again. 
  

<   Should have slept in.  > 
She thought as she did a few high kicks, bending backwards a little. A few more punches in the direction of the bathroom door. As she threw one last punch the bathroom door open and Ryu walked right into the line of fire. 

"Whoa! I thought you wanted to sleep in today?" He said as he intercepted her punch, him in a singlet and shorts. 

"Nah. I’m think I’m too used to waking this early, Yuyu." ChunLi hugged Ryu. They began kissing with such passion that neither wishes to stop so soon. For them this is but a daily morning ritual. 
  

Moments later when they stop for air, ChunLi headed for the bathroom to wash up. 

"Aisai. There’s hot tea in the kitchen. You want some?" Ryu called out, as he started to change into his gi. 

"Sure. Just give a minute or two to wash up." Calling out from the bathroom. 

ChunLi came out of the bathroom all wash up and in her ‘cheongsam’ like fighting uniform, her long hair unbraided. Ryu came into the bedroom and handed her a cup of tea. 

"Oh. Thanks. You want some?" ChunLi said as she sipped her tea. 
"Drank mine earlier." Ryu said, combing her hair. 
"What?" he asked when ChunLi was giggling. 
  

"It’s kind of unexpected that such a powerful fighter like you would have such a gentle touch." Seeing that he momentarily stopped. 

"No. Please do continue. I like." ChunLi managed to convince him to continue. Later ChunLi braided her hair in two braids and wound them up the side of her head, before covering it with a piece of cloth before securing it with a few ribbons and clips, one braid after the other. 

"Ready?" Ryu asked as he tightens his belt. 

ChunLi secured the laces on her boots. 
"Let’s go." She said. 
  
  

Outside the back gate, the couple did some warm-up exercise before they started to jog northwest. 

"You wanna take breakfast at home or in town." ChunLi asked as she jogged beside Ryu. 

"Maybe we both can cook something together." Ryu suggested. 

"Hey Lover." ChunLi jogged in front of Ryu. 

"Catch me if you can." She teased as she sped off. Ryu chased after her. 
  

Although it is still dark, the couple knew the trail like the back of their palms. Together they ran through the forest trail, past the stream. Turning left at the fork in the trail. Chasing each other for thirty minutes before turning right at another fork in the trail. This trail leads up to the beach. 
  
  

6 am 

The couple went through about 45 minutes of Qigong in union before they started to spar It wasn’t long before they were drench with perspiration. Ryu charged towards her throwing a strong punch. 

ChunLi shifted her feet at the last moment, moving quickly so that he could only pass her by. As he passed by, she shoved her palm into his side, changing his direction. Ryu regained his composure and took up his defensive stance. For the last few moments he had being testing his wife’s skill. It seems that she had improved much since the accident. He felt proud of his wife. 

They smiled at each other knowing that for the next few moments its back to business as usual. fired a weak fireball and follow it to him. He jumped over the projectile, leg extended towards her. She could only block. When he landed he grabbed her, landing on his back he threw her off. She managed to land on her feet, rushing towards him as he got up. 

"SENRETSU KYAKU!!!" ChunLi shouted as she kicked him repeatedly with the deadlier version of her Lighting Kicks. Sending Ryu to the ground. She rushed towards him for another round. 

"SENRETSU KYAKU!!!" ChunLi shouted, but Ryu was prepared as he block. 
  

"SHINKU HADOKEN!!!" Ryu shouted. When she finishes her move, he charged his ‘qi’ throwing the larger and deadlier version of the Hadoken at her. The impact threw her back some distance. She landed on the ground not moving. He move towards her. Suddenly she kick his feet from him. He fell on top her. Smiling at him, she threw him off as he did her earlier. seems that both are unable to gain any advantage. 

They kept sparring until 8am, when they decided to head home using the shortcut that leads towards the waterfall. At the waterfall, they headed east back home. Nearing home they saw something hanging on the tree in their courtyard. 

The couple approached with caution. Not far from the tree was a makeshift sled. On it two freshly killed deer atop a few baskets. By the sled was a large brown and white wolf that watches them with familiarity. On its back was a dark brown squirrel holding onto a pair of spectacles. 

Facing them, hanging upside down from the higher up branch was a friend of theirs.

Ryu stood in front and threw a straight punch. Suddenly she opened her eyes and with a cat like swipe sends his punch off course. Ryu sent another punch her way. She swipes back again. There was a smile on their face when the pace increases until only the trained eye could see through the blurred movements. ChunLi joined in as well. 

<<  Hey! No fair! Two against one!   >>  She said to them. 

<<   Thought you were invincible?   >>  Ryu said. 

<<   Very funny.  >>  She smirked. Her eyes on the both of them. 

<<  When did you came back?  >>  ChunLi asked. 
  

<<  Just flew back. Term break. When Jack knew I was coming to visit coming to visit you guys he made me bring a basket of your favourite makan (food).  >> On mention of Jack the pace began to slow down. 

<<  So what really brings you here?  >> 

<<  Me and them six wanted to be here when your dojo opens.  >> 

<<  The Seven Black Jackets coming to town together? So what the deal?   >>  ChunLi asked 

<<  No no. Doesn’t mean that when all seven of us gathers meant something big is going down. And would that mean that something big always happens back home?   >> The three of them stopped whatever is it they were doing. 
  

"Er could you help me down? My legs have gone numbed." She said. 

"Well Iwa. You asked for it." ChunLi said. Ryu got hold of her as she released her grip from the branch. Iwa combed back her hair, her short jaw length bob hair was just as messy as it was. Her blue headband kept her centre-parting fringe from her eyes. The t-shirt and jeans she wore was slightly messy. The dark brown squirrel handed her the spectacles. 

"Er thanks." She said. With her spectacles on her cold brown eyes look even colder and bigger. She was shorter than Ryu by a head and half. 

Together they brought the stuff Iwa brought and had breakfast.
