The morning sun rises over this strange lush green land. It could have been anywhere on earth yet it is not. The members of the Inner Circle that are from this land had gathered to sent Ryu and ChunLi off. This little clearing by the waterfall held a circle of seven stones that seems to emit some kind of power from its very being. This place felt familiar in the sense that another place on Earth plane seems to carry a similar aura. Yet the couple were almost reluctant to leave. Ryu especially since he felt that there was so much to catch up on with his parents. Yet he knew that they very much appreciated the chance to meet him. So he leaves this place not with a heavy heart but with happiness instead. The fact that he had actually reunited with his parent was more then enough. “Give our regards
to your sensei.” Sho said as he and Miyuki hugged their son. Their boy
had become a fine young man indeed.
“This does leads
to Point of Power right?” Kumori asked.
“Yup. This is it
alright.” Iwa confirmed when she return.
“WHAT?!” Sean exclaimed, he didn’t like this place much but he has no intention of dying yet. Yet Sakura was impatient to back home. The past month she felt that she wasn’t welcome here at all. She had seen some things that she had no explanations for. “Just have to chance
it. You could stay if you like.” Iwa added, looking up the blue sky.
Kumori held out both palms to face Iwa at stomach level, Iwa followed and they both created a circle of palms. Ryu reached for ChunLi’s hand. She squeezed his hand back to comfort him. Looking out Ryu could see his parents watching them. He smiled back, six months is not too long a time. A ball of chi grew from the palms of the two women. They slowly push the two balls of chi towards each other. Upon contact, the colour changes from blue to white as it enlarges and envelops all six of them. In a blink of an eye, they were all gone. Miyuki felt Sho squeezed her shoulder lightly. “Six months is not
too long.” He said to her as they quietly leave the area.
--------
Witches’ Grove, Shadowlaw A little clearing in the forest of Shadowlaw. One of the places that was considered to be sacred and forbidden to tourists. This little plot of land that lies in the land that beyond the Chasm, where Summerlodge is situated. This place was naturally quiet considering the entire estate belongs to ChunLi. Today Yuri and Xiangfei
were pushing a statue away from the centre of the grove. Xiangfei was technically
unhappy about her situation. She was robbed of what was promise to her.
“They’re late!” Xiangfei
pouted as she lay slump by the statue after pushing it out of the way.
“You’re the one who
volunteered to come okay. My bro wanted to come, Terry wanted to come.
Kyo wanted to come. But you got picked. So enjoy it.”
“Hey I hung around
Ryu and ChunLi for a few times in three years and the only so call fun
I had was last year. And Greece was all business and no fun. Kidnapping
is not my idea of fun! Oruchi awakening during KOF was more fun than this
so quit whining.” Yuri raised her voice slightly. The very word of kidnap
offended her due to past experience. Her attention turned to the centre
of the clearing. She looks at her watch.
In the centre of
the clearing there seems to be a few sparks gathering and enlarging. Wispy
tendrils of energy reached out to each other, connecting and enlarging
till it exploded. Standing at the centre of it all. Ryu and ChunLi were
holding onto each other, Sean and Sakura were shivering. Iwa and Kumori
looked around and broke formation, nonchalantly brushing the snow off their
clothes.
“Hey hey! Welcome
back!” Xiangfei came forward.
“South Pole.”
“And if you two leak out anything on what you see or where you being. I’ll send you there. You hear?” Iwa faced Sean and Sakura. There was a moment of silence and the two nodded in agreement before the four would let them go. “So what do we do
now?” Kumori asked.
-----------
It was evening when they all made it back to dojo for dinner. Ryu and ChunLi were in their room cooing over Haru and Kage. The couple realised that they missed their children much during the month that they were gone. They hadn’t missed much but they felt only a bit of what Miyuki and Sho must have gone through. But then six months is not a long wait. |
