The storms have stop raging this morning, but the skies still remains cloudy and the lightning and thunder still persists. From the courtyard a woman with jade green hair looks up towards the dark skies. With a smile she gathers up the long skirts of her gown and headed back into the castle towards the main hall. 

Demons moved out of her way as she passes by. Reaching the main hall she sat on the throne made of skulls, her ghoulish servant brings her a cup of blood red wine as two others arrived before her. 
  

“The guests have arrived. They are disoriented, guide them with care.” She said coolly before dismissing them. Her long wait has finally paid off. The Twisted Pair are playing on her ground rules now. Morrigan started to wonder which one would she take first, she smiled once more as she made up her mind.

Southern Mo-Kai 

Near mountain borders that separate harsh northern land and southern forests. The air around the area started to swirl as energy gathers, creating a dust storm. When the storm dies down, four people were revealed. Two locked hand to hand in a test of strength, two others a little distance away huddled together. 

“Where are we?” Sean looks up. Sakura lifted her head as well. 
“Welcome to Southern Mo-Kai. Please leave your sanity by the door. The departure will begin when I’ve gathered enough energy. Have a nice day.” Kumori spoke up. 
“Do you have to bring them?” Iwa asked her friend privately. 
“Can’t bring the barrier down after its up. Mess up the system you know.” Kumori let go of Iwa. 

“Wait?! Weren’t you two trying to kill each other just now?” Sakura asked, puzzled by the lack of enmity between the two. 
“Goal has being reached no need for blood shed.” Iwa said as she yawned. 
“He’s not here.” Kumori said impatiently 
“Yet. He’ll be here in good time. You know how he is.” 
“But what about us? We don’t want stay here wherever here is.” Sakura said. 
“Tough luck. You’ll leave when everything is said and done, meanwhile stay and enjoy yourselves.” 
“Yeah! Where is your sense of fun and adventure? This is the perfect place to hang out.” 

“We left our sense of adventure back at the dojo.” Sean said, he had a feeling that these two are not likely to cooperate much. 
“Then again, we can’t go back without them.” Sakura said 
  
  

“FOUL DEMONS OF THE NORTHERN TERRITORIES PREPARE THYSELVES TO FACE THE BLADE OF THE GREAT HAOHMARU!!!!!” A shout came from above them. 

“YIKES!!!!” Iwa and Kumori rolled away from they were sitting avoiding the blade of light cut the log they were resting on into two. The swordsman noting he missed stood up in readiness. 

“AH LITTLE ONE I SEE YOU ARE PREPARED TO CHALLENGE THE GREAT HAOHMARU!!!!” he smiled seeing Iwa unsheathed the sword on her back. Seeing the cold blue gleam Haohmaru welcomes the challenge. 
  

“For once shut up and fight.” Iwa answered as she blocked the blow. Sparks flew as they cross swords. Another group of people arrived this time. Neither teams made any effort to get involve or start another fight. All they did was watch the two in battle till they tire themselves out and called for a truce. 

“YOU HAVE IMPROVE MUCH. BUT THERE IS STILL MUCH FOR YOU TO LEARN!” he said. 
“Yeah yeah. Whatever.” Iwa dugged into her backpack and two out two bottles of wine. 
“AH HA! YOU LEARN FAST INDEED. THEN I SHALL ACCEPT THIS WINE IN GRATITUDE!!” 

“Wait a minute? Isn’t he and those guys suppose to be dead?” Sakura spoke up suddenly when she recognized who they were. 
“In a way we are. But since our souls end up here.” The red hair boy spoke up. 

“AYE AFTERALL IT IS WITH THE PRESENCE OF THE GREAT HAOHMARU THAT THE MORRIGAN HERSELF HAD YET TO TAKE OVER THE SOUTHERN LANDS!! AND THAT IS WHAT WE WORK TO PREVENT!!” 
“That is more than enough already. You two go report to him, he’ knows you’re here already.” Charlotte said 

“Wait a minute you guys are suppose to be dead and yet you know her?” Sean pointed from Haohmaru to Iwa and back again. 
“THAT IS…MMPH!!” Haohmaru tried to shake off Galford who had covered his mouth. 
“Long story cut short. It’s a matter of fate, that our paths cross beyond life and death. NO!! you may not add anything more. Just shut up and drink!” Charlotte said to Haohmaru, as they watch Iwa and Kumori head down south with Shizumaru as guide. 

“HEY! Wait for us!!” Sakura shouted. 
“You two stay here. We’ll be back in good time. You’re in good hands.” Iwa called back.

Back up north. A little distance away from Castle Aenslend 

Within a stone structure lights began to gather and fill up within the structure. As quickly as it had gathered it vanished as well leaving a couple who are in tight embrace within. It took them awhile to realize what had happen. The Twisted Pair felt solid to each other and that was enough to convince them that they are still alive. Though where they are is an entirely different matter all together. What’s important to them was that they have not being separated. 

“You seem distracted.” ‘Ryu spoke first. 
“Not as much as you are.” 
“Hmmph. You’re aware of it too huh.” 
“Yeah. Two immensely strong presence both trying to outdo each other…Calling out, beckoning..” ‘ChunLi’ shook her head, she seem to be having a hard time concentrating. 
“South or North….” He had felt the same effect and started to wonder what is happening indeed. 
“South…the call…strangely familiar…” Leaning on to ‘Ryu’ for support. 
  

Regardless they remain cautious against unfamiliar ground as they move southwards, the call was stronger than the one in the north. But strong as whatever it was they had being beckoning them it could not drown they feeling that they were being watch. Strangely they were drowsy but they kept moving on. 

Demons began to appear from behind them as if trying to herd them. The Twisted Pair stood back to back, taking down each demon that dare venture close. 

“Lei yat guo, sat yat guo! Lei yat ban, sat yat ban! (Come one kill one, Come a group kill a group)” ‘ChunLi’ hissed as she bashed a demon against another stone structure. It seem to the Twisted Pair that for every demon that falls two more seem replace it. Injured as they are from the earlier fight with Gouki, they won’t go down without a fight. They don’t know how long had they being going on. 

“Ryu…” ‘ChunLi called out, she can’t take it anymore. The demons had being making it worse by coming slowly, taunting them, The Twisted Pair could feel that along with these bunch of demons there’s somebody else waiting to take them in their moment of weakness. 
  

“Uuurggh!!!” ‘ChunLi pulled out a dart from the side of her neck, she shakes her her head again trying to clear her visions but her head felt heavy, she collapse where she stood. 
“Chun-Chun!!!” ‘Ryu’ called out as he grabbed her still fending off what demons he could. Until a demon with a large club bashed the conciseness out of him, ‘Ryu’ collapse still holding onto ‘ChunLi’. 

“FOOLS!” a young female voice shouted. The demons moved aside as the young succubus rushed in. 
“If he dies the mistress will make you suffer for eternity!!” she confronted the demon who who had clubbed Ryu. It said nothing. 
“Now Lilith. We have to bring him down sooner or later.” A tall dark male appears beside her. He squats to observed ‘ChunLi’ 

“Yes but I was reloading the darts! I could have taken him down without much damage!” 
“Hmmm, your instincts are taking over again.” Demitri hinted. 
“Well so are yours! The mistress will have our heads if anything goes wrong.” 
“Mostly my head young Lilith. Afterall you are her protégé.” 
“Come on Let’s get this job over with. Fool! What are you doing?!” she shouted at another demon. 
  

“Mistress!! He refuses to let go of her!!!” it said pointing towards ‘Ryu’, As much as the demon tries to pry ‘ChunLi’ away from him. His hold remains strong. 
“Leave be for the moment, the mistress will have a way to solve this. Bring them back as they are now. I’m surrounded by fools.” She muttered. 
“It takes one to know one.” Demitri said under his breath. As he watched the demons carry the Twisted Pair back to the Castle.

Castle Aenslend 
  

The succubus with the jade green hair left her skull throne to inspect her prized catch, kneeling down by ‘Ryu’s side she smiled once again as she stroked his face, he growled almost unconsciously. 

“I can almost taste the darkness of his powers from here. She is a most excellent bonus indeed. I know I can’t take you from your world but now you are in my world now precious darling. Then we shall see if I have what it takes to make you forget her….ha ha ha.” She planted a kiss on ‘Ryu’s’ lips and licked its saltiness knowing he couldn’t do anything about that. 
  

“Come now. ” Morrigan smiled as the demons carried the Twisted Pair and followed her.
