6am and still an hour till dawn, Mel had awoken to the loud commotion that was going on outside. 
“HHHWWWAAAA……Some people sure know how to pick a lousy time to stir up trouble.” Mel yawned. 

Dragging himself out of bed he could see that the students were all rushing about. A few had being thrown around the courtyard by the intruder. Mel return to his bed to answer his mobile phone. 

“..zzz…..Hello?…..Dad?” Mel answered. 
“What? How did you know?……Nevermind forget I ask…I know I know the Internal network again... .Describe? Hold on while I get a closer look.” 
“Well…from what I can see the students, Sean, Sakura and whoever else seem to have being thrash rather badly.” Mel ducked to avoid the students that were thrown past. 

“Slightly taller than Iwa, Black trenchcoat. Very Matrix if you ask me. Long waist length black hair. Words on her back says ‘Ba Feng’” 
“Oooh that’s gotta hurt.” Mel said when he saw a student being thrown into the ground face first. 
“Yeah? Her name?! How would I know?” 
  

“Kumori.” A voice said 
“Kumori.” Mel repeated. “Yeah that’s her….?? What the?!!!” Mel turned around, Kumori knelt down in front Mel and ruffle his hair. 
“Mel-Mel. The youngest Shou-shen ne. You cute little thing you.” Kumori said. On the other of the phone came Ken’s worried voice. There was a barrage of instructions for Mel, who handed the phone to Kumori. 
  

“O Genki desu ka. Ken-san…... Yeah well I had to…… The students would get a taste of what it’s like in a real battle……no…..yeah…but……No! I didn’t rough them up that badly.…Uh huh ..okay….sorry. Give my regards to Mrs Masters….Okay you too…” She handed the phone back to Mel. 
“Go get Iwa now. Or is she hiding from me?” Kumori went back to continue giving hell to everybody around. 
  
  

A few minutes run from the dojo, Mel entered the cave with care. After winding through the tunnels Mel found Iwa. She was in a near sitting stance while standing, her hands in front of her abdomen as if cupping a ball. As Mel got closer he could see that it was qi instead. 

“You know somebody thrashing the dojo.” Mel said, there was no response. 
“You’re needed up there you know. She said you were afraid to meet her.” Mel continued. Iwa’s left eye shot open, Mel has her attention now. 

“Ah. Good. Can we go up now?” Mel asked. 
Iwa closed her left eye, in a slow series of motions she which ended when she place both hands on her lower back and let the qi slowly infuse her. 

“Okay Let’s go.” She said after a while. 
“What was that for?” 
“Backache.” 
  
  

“There you are!!!!!” Kumori shouted, she dashed towards Iwa in with a clothesline attack. 
“Wah!” Iwa ducked, sweeping Kumori off her feet, Kumori rolled and got back on her feet. 
“Is that anyway to greet a friend?” Kumori threw a punch at Iwa who intercepted it with both hands. 
“You started it.” 
“Did not!” Applying more strength to push her opponent backwards. 
“Did too!” 
“Did not!” Kumori upped her qi level to force Iwa back 
“Did too! Wah!! Cheat ah you!” 
“I did not cheat!” 
“Did too and this dojo can’t stand the full force of the Soul Earth Energy.” Iwa answered back, her qi level is now on par with Kumori. 

“Not a problem.” Kumori snapped her fingers to create a barrier around them, the students scrambled away as it closes, leaving Sakura and Sean trapped within. 
  

“Great! Now we’re in the deep end.” Sean mumbled as both kept away from the wild energy that was building up within the dome. 
  

“Where were we? Oh yeah. Rose wants me to help you.” Both of them had their hands locked together in a test of strength. 
“Don’t change the subject!!!!!” Iwa said through gritted teeth. 
“I did not!!!! You change it first.” 
“Shut up and fight!!!!” 
“Well you started it!!!!” 
“Did not!!!” 
“Did too!!!!” The argument started again. 
  

Sean and Sakura could not help but wonder if the two noticed the concentration of power. 
“You go stop them then.” Sakura. 
“No way am I going between them.” Sean said as they huddled closer knowing that there was no way out. 
  

“You still owe me cheng teng!!” Kumori said all of a sudden. 
“I said go get it yourself if you wanted it! Sharlin heard me.” Iwa said, eyeing the energy that building up. 
“You did not!” 
“Did too!!!” 
“Did not!!!! Power’s building up!!!” 
“Did too!!! Right about…….” 
“NOW!!!!” Kumori shouted and started to sing a little song which was starting to affect the concentrated energy. 
  

From the outside, everybody witness the large barrier of energy implode on itself. There was no sign of the four and the only thing that was left was a ball of concentrated energy about the size of a rennis ball hovering just above ground. Mel’s mobile phone rang again. 
  

“Hello? Dad. Yeah just happen.” Mel said with an air of nonchalance as if this happen everyday. 
“Uhh. No…haven’t seen her yet…. Wait a minute scratch the last one, she’s here.” 
Materializing out of thin air was Rose, on seeing the ball of pure qi she scooped it up before vanishing again. 

“Uhh yeah?” Mel continue. “Why? Okay Okay don’t give the long reason! I’ll do it.” Mel said. Hanging up the phone and headed to the room of ChunLi and Ryu. Placing their twins in the pram, Mel push them out and towards Iwa’s room. 
  

Upon entering, Mel notice that the hole in the wall had being left open, there was a large bunch of squirrels on Iwa’s desk quarreling over the nuts and fruits she left. In the premise of her room was the whole pack of the Inner Circle wolves. All fourteen are here and waiting for him. 

“Hey you guys gotta earn your keep if you wanna stay here okay. Batu! Don’t sneak off.” Mel called out to the pure black wolf. It gave him an embarrassed grin before settling down beside a gray-white wolf.

It was sunset when the Shotoken Master awoke. Looking around him he realised that 'he' is still in control instead of him. He smirked wondering why he was still 'here' after the battle. 

<   Best not look a gift horse in the mouth. Heh heh.   > Satsui no Hadou Ryu thought as he dragged himself over to his mate's side, or is she his "soul brother's" mate? Combing away her hair from her face he saw that the wound cause by the Tengai no Ten was slowly healing. Satsui no Hadou Ryu licked the semi-dried blood from her wound, leaving a salty coppery aftertaste on his tongue. 

<  My little Chun-Chun which aspect of you will return? But does it really matter which aspect return…Oh yeah it matters…Of course it matters….It matters a lot..  > 

He continued to stroke her face. Satsui No Hadou Ryu suddenly look up as though as he sensed something. His line of site landed on a groove of trees. The shadow faded away as he growled a name. 
"Geotao…" 
  

It was not long when the Wushu Mistress open her eyes only to meet the fierce intense gaze of the Satsui no Hadou Ryu. He smirked on seeing the pair of defiant eyes before him. It seems that 'they' are still in possession of their bodies. ‘ChunLi’ reached up to stroke his face, breaking the chain of thoughts that ‘Ryu’ had in his mind. 
"AH HA HA HA HA!!!!" They laughed breaking the twisted smiles they had on their faces a moment ago….. 
  

Moments later they stopped laughing and tried to remember something, but it had slipped past them. 
“Can you feel it?” ‘ChunLi’ asked. There was something bothering her and she don’t like the feel of it. 

“Feel what?” Another thought passed through his mind. His eyebrows rose all of a sudden. 
“Not that! You big lout! Can’t you feel the concentration of pure evil about five miles south of here?” she asked with distaste in her voice, apparently she knew what he was thinking about. 
“Ooooorrr.” He said in understanding. 
“And here I was thinking you had other things in mind.” 

“You know the place well. What is in that direction?” ‘ChunLi’ asked in a business like tone. 
“Hmmm…. Five miles south of the dojo…..nothing but sea, sea and more sea…..Wait! The old coot’s (Gouki) lair is on an island there. What? You want a tour?” 

“Yes and do get off me!” ‘ChunLi’ hissed at him 
“You know. You’re no fun at all. Come on bring ‘her’ back at least she’s more of a conversationalist than you’ll ever be….OOWWWW!!!” ‘Ryu’ yelled suddenly, leaping up in pain. There was a wetness on the back of his head and it turned out to be blood. He saw ‘ChunLi’ adjusting the spike bracelet. 

“Woman! How many times have I told you not to use that thing on me!! What the hell are you trying to do? Kill me?” he said in a pissed off tone. 
“Maybe I am.” ‘ChunLi’ got up shaking the dirt off her tattered attire. Tearing off a strip off her attire she used it to tie up her wild hair, ignoring ‘Ryu’ she headed southeast. 
  

“HEY!! Where do you think you’re going?” ‘Ryu’ grabbed her wrist her pulled her back to him. 
“Southeast of here. Strong concentration of pure evil remember? You have lousy short term memory.” With that she walked off again. 
“Are you coming or not?” ‘ChunLi’ asked 
“Of course I am! You’re bound to get into trouble without me!” ‘Ryu’ answered, brushing off the remains of his non-existent dogi jacket.

Gouki’s island 
  

With their speed, the Twisted Pair reached the island as the last ray of sunset died. The center of the island consist of ruins of what seems like a castle of European desgins. Its surroundings were full of dead and decaying vegetation, upon reaching the cave they found that the aura of death was strong. 
  

“Typical” ‘ChunLi’ said. 
“Yeah well I prefer the cave at Draconfalls. At least over there it’s a lot brighter than this pit.” 

With a shrug the Twisted Pair headed in as the aura of death and evil gets stronger the deeper they descended. In this dank pit the smell of evil of undeniably strong. They observed the many stone cravings upon the walls. The arts of dark Shotoken had being altered by Gouki into perfection ‘Ryu’ noted. 

“The old coot had started learning at age five…impressive. Inducted to the dark side at ten?! Mastery of over the Satsui no Hado at fifteen? Hmm…..” 

“Oy Kayu!!! Over here!!” ‘ChunLi’ called out from another part of the cave. He could see sparkles from where he stood. 
  

Observing the part of the cave where ‘ChunLi’ stood. ‘Ryu’ noticed that set within the cave wall. The sense of evil was at its strongest here. 
“What? Fancying a diamond at this time?” ‘Ryu’ noticed that it was no ordinary diamond. It had a hole in it, which could allow two fingers to poke through. 
  

“Tengai no Ten?!” The Twisted Pair said together. 
Ryu slipped his middle and index fingers into the slot, from there qi emitted out of the diamond creating a dust storm around the Twisted Pair….. 
  

Moments later the dust storm dies down to reveal the Chinese word ‘Tian’(sky). Within the word there were diamonds encrusted in the stone. The Twisted Pair noticed that there were fist and foot marks all over the large word and some had being inflicted on the diamonds as well. It occurred to them that the Tengai no Ten had did what the Shun Goku Satsu didn’t. Shatter a diamond, the hardest rock on earth. The Twisted Pair let out a whistle for they were impressed. 
  

“I knew you would come.” A voice said from behind them. 
“ROSE!!!” 
“Forgive me. For it is the only path you can take….” She said. Raising her hands to the air, a ball of pure concentrated qi began to materialize, the same one that Rose had taken from the battle between Kumori and Iwa. She threw it directly towards the twisted pair wducked. The pure ball of qi hit the ‘tian’ of diamond instead and was absorb by it. 

“You miss.” ‘Ryu’ said. 
“No. I did not.” Rose said. She vanished from sight. 
From the ‘tian’ of diamonds a white light appeared consuming everything within its path. Including ‘Ryu’ who held ‘ChunLi’ tightly in his arms. Moments later when the light was gone. There was no sign of the Twisted Pair. All that remain was an eerie silence as the diamonds sparkle in darkness………..
