1st March 1995  

Summer lodge, Dracon's lair Shadowlaw  

For a strange reason ChunLi had a bad feeling about going to town today.  
"Li is something wrong?" Ryu asked  
"I'm not really sure but...." she stopped in mid sentence.  
"Li if you do not feel like going to town today, we can go something other time." Ryu said. Concerned that his wife seem so troubled.  
"No. it's nothing at all. Maybe the stress of my job is getting to me. Maybe its time I retire from Interpol." mumbled ChunLi as she got up.  

Out of the house, the late morning sky was filled with dark storm clouds. As the couple pass by the tree where a swing hung, the feeling of dread began to intensify. Some distance away from their home. The couple found that the creatures of the woods were silent. They stopped.  
   

"Ryu can you feel it? It's like a calm before a storm."  
"I feel it too. Like somebody waiting for us." Ryu frowned.  
Suddenly they stood back to back in their defensive stance.  
"Come out of hiding whoever you are!" Ryu shouted eyeing the surroundings.  
<<  There’s no fooling you my boy.  >>  a voice boom in their heads.  
The aura of powerful 'qi' rushes towards them.  
   

"Shun Goku Satsu!" Gouki warped towards them, attacking from their sides.  
"POW! POW! POW!" bright light enveloped them upon contact. Only the sound of intense pummeling could be heard.  
The light faded as Gouki stopped. The couple collapsed to the ground.  
Gouki stood before Ryu, one foot on Ryu's back.  

"Long time no see my boy." Gouki laughed.  
Ryu groaned as he attempt to get up. But Gouki mad sure he couldn't.  

"Ryu Ryu Ryu. Has marriage soften you so much as to give up the Way of the Warrior. Leave the wench, my boy. That old fool Gouken had never told you how to reach your full potential." Gouki growled.  
   

Ryu tensed up. ChunLi's life is endangered, now that Gouki is using that tone of voice again. Ryu tried to summon his strength. Gouki was aware of Ryu's attempt. He frowned as he looked at the unconscious ChunLi.  

"Tsk tsk tsk. So this is the witch that made you give up the Way of the Warrior." Gouki shook his head.  
"My boy. I am aware that you are able to summon your Evil Intent at will and are able to control it like your 'qi'. Why don't you let it take full control of you and be more powerful instead." Gouki smiled.  
   

"I'll never join you!" Ryu swore.  
"Bah! that is not your choice to make!. Perhaps the death of you wench will sway you! When hope dies, the demon shall reign supreme! Ha! Ha! Ha!" Gouki laughed madly.  

Gouki lifted his foot off Ryu's back and sent it crushing down towards ChunLi's head!  
"Nooo!" Ryu shouted as he lets his dark 'qi' flow again to save his wife.  

The birds in the area suddenly panic and took flight. Another dark 'qi' appeared, it stopped Auk's foot in mid-air as the owner's hand held back Gouki's foot. The owner of this new dark 'qi' is ChunLi! Satsui no Hadou Ryu got up and dusted himself off, he smirked.  

"Whadda you know. A dark 'qi' party. You are having fun aren't yer, Uncle. Heh Heh." Satsui no Hadou Ryu commented. Looking at the newly demonized ChunLi, he smiled at her. His perfect mate has now being unleash, he had yearn for today since the first time he sense his dark bride calling out for him.  
   

"Let got Witch!" Gouki growled.  
ChunLi merely looked at him with a nonchalant smile as she applied more pressure on his foot before slamming him to the ground.  

"I should thank you, Uncle." Satsui no Hadou Ryu said to the shell shock Gouki. "You were able to achieve something that had eluded me for so long. I thank you for unsealing my dark bride. Now I have company. Heh heh." Satsui no hadou Ryu winked at Shin ChunLi, giving her his approval.  

"Air Demon!" she shouted. warping towards Gouki. Bright light covered them upon contact. The stampede of kicks sending him into unconsciousness. As he fade from reality, his subconscious pick up a vision of his future.....

20 years or so down the road. Gouki saw himself as an older man, at the peek of his power. But what is the use of such potent power when one is weak in the face of death. Death in the hands of a 19 years old girl. But there was something about this girl. Something that makes one part of him welcome death with open arms. And the other part wanted to explore the full extent of this girl's power.  

Her 'qi' seem familiar. The daughter of Ryu and ChunLi. She has their good looks. Gentle brown eyes that carries a hint of coolness. Black shoulder length hair with a tint of brown.  
Center parting fringe held away from her eyes by the red headband of Ryu. Black  bodysuit beneath dark blue gi. A black belt holder in Shotoken. And her sport sandals thrown aside for she prefer to fight bare feet. On her wrists she wore the knobbed bracelets that ChunLi wore in her younger days.  
   

For some strange reason, he found himself playing for time to recover.  

"KageRyu! tell your twin to let me go! I'll train you in the dark arts of Shotoken!" Gouki called out to the boy in the grey dogi. As serious looking as his twin. His short black hair also carries a tint of brown. Gouki noticed that KageRyu is quite a good looking lad with the potential to be as deadly as his sister, if he should choose to take his lessons seriously.  

"No can do. Old man. You can't order Jie(elder sister) around. Sides you cause way to much pain and suffering." KageRyu answered.  

"Mel! You don't want Haruryu to be a murderer. do you? I can make you more powerful than the twins if you help me." he called out to the older blond boy  

"Cut the crap old man. You hurt my dad and still expect me to help you?" Mel said. Both Mel and KageRyu moved back a little.  
   

"First you stole volume 7. Then beat the crap out of Sagat. Endanger the lives of the students at our dojo. Nearly kill Dad and Mom. You expect mercy?". Haruryu's eyes burn with the Psycho Power of her Grandfather.  

Gouki heard the girl called out the name of a deadly combo as she rushes towards him. Attacking him with a deadly combination of Shotoken and Wushu. Approaching like a hell's angel, full of fury and fire.....  
   
   

Gouki jolted back to reality. The twisted pair had left him battered and bruised. the rain beat down upon his sore body.  
Gouki could not help but to have this ominous feeling that by unsealing ChunLi's darkside, he had triggered a series of events that would eventually lead him to his death in the hands of Haruryu Hoshi.  

"I swear by the dark powers. I will not only destroy that little witch Haruryu but any offsprings of Ryu and ChunLi!" Gouki growled.
